Ever struggled to find the perfect fit to your wardrobe essential ? Up until recently I used to splurge on brands hoping I would find "the one". Thinking while I swipe down my card that I couldn't have find something better. Convincing myself that if I were to do some workout and get that small belly of mine into abs the jeans would fit me like a glove. The thing is, either they would be perfectly snug in the right areas and too tight around my hips or waist whereas the opposite would apply getting the right number, it would leave me with baggy feelings where it should have been fitted.
Denims are definitely one of the best item a girl could ask for but can easily become frustrating find the right ones that fits your body properly. In the past I did found a couples pairs at Zara that were OKAY but the quality of the textile wasn't thick or good enough. Am I really glad for the trend of high waisted jeans are back. What a life savior !!
I recently purchase 3 different kind of denim all from otherwise affordable online websites that are high waisted. Two of them are the best jeans I’ve ever had while the last one is also great but I feel it flattens my rear end more than it should.
The ones posted above are from Bershka I unfortunately couldn’t find them to link on the blog but here is a simple rule I like to go by when shopping for jeans. First things first. Pockets. More specifically the back pockets. Are super important depending on your shape to accentuate or understate what ever beautifulness you’ve got going on. Sometimes I found that no pockets at all are giving me an even better shape but again it also depend on how the seams are made. Second is textile. The thickness and stretchy-ness have to be balanced.
Let me know now what are your go to jeans and if you have certain criteria’s that are a must when shopping denims.
I have collaborated with Clout Motive recently. I've decided to give you guys a real and upfront review on the company. First I would like to began with positive notes. The quality of the products is very good which is one of the main concerns when you order from a new online shop. I use to always order from the same stores but wanting to get to know different brands requires a little risk. So, let me get into the details that I believe this brand could benefit from to evolve and grow into a broader spectrum. The packaging had nothing to be excited about and the amount of time for the parcels to arrive was at least 3 weeks. Yes, parcels. I ordered 2 items - T-shirt & Denim - and they sent them separately for weight purposes I am guessing. Look, I am not one to bash a new company especially when they offer me a features on their page and discounts for me & my followers. But I won't be bought either. In conclusion, would I order from them again with discount ? Yes & No. Yes because I believe in helping one an other so I will most likely give them an other shot in a few months to see if their company as evolved. It is really well priced and I am in no rush to receive my parcel. I know what to expect. Good quality textile with discount and no charge for delivery. They also have a very nice website which take your shopping experience for the better. The No factor is because we have so many other clothing companies and online shops that are established so why wait 3 weeks to get in your order when you can get it in maximum a week.
Here is my honest review on The Clout Motive. Don't let my opinion get in the way. Go check them out yourself they have really nice and unique pieces.
When you're done with your early 20's, well into your 30's and you are considered above average with your height, mini skirts aren't the wisest choice - Of course, that is my opinion - I simply find mini's aren't practical, especially with high heels. Being a mom and having lived my 20's to the fullest I consider my mini skirts days over. There is nothing to be ashamed in wanting to show a little leg and since mine are definitely one of my best assets I do have some occasions where I will ditch the Midi dress and hop onto my Skort. On an other related topic.. How could something so practical and beautiful ended up having such an ugly name ? This just prove even more how you cannot judge a book by it's cover. Am I right ?!
With stripes being in season this year I had to put my hands on this super cute wrap blouse from Monki. I never really was into stripes per say TBH but somehow this year and this particular top made me crave to add it to my closet. I feel it is effortless and completely create the perfect everyday wear. You can easily dress it up or casually wear it with slides and a good denim. I unfortunately couldn't find the exact mules from Replay but any kind of shoes is easily paired with this versatile ensemble.
Happy Friday babes ! I wanted to share with you this new brand that I decided to collaborate with. When I read blog or insta stories from our more well known Influencers they always find each others new brands or collaboration to help one an other raise up. Wether it is a blogger who finds the brand or the other way around. I am a strong believer in life that we should push on an other towards success and that we should surround ourselves with people who work in the same way. People who are consistent and determined to succeed. I also strongly believe in authenticity. Meaning I wouldn’t rep a brand that doesn't speak to me. This girl from Thessaloniki started her own brand and is making all her clothing here in Greece. She has many different options that anyone can find an item to suit their own style. Young entrepreneurs with fresh new ideas is what truly inspires me. Here are the links to her instagram & facebook.

In the mist winter I tend to go into hibernation mode. My everyday wear is more often than others sweatpants and oversized tee’s or tracksuits. I still make it fashionable *hair flip*. I must admit to I tend to loose my sense of fashion especially if I’m not traveling or simply staying home. When days are getting longer and warmer weather is settling I’m overjoyed with denims. I finally start to wear them again. I feel like I have a hole new wardrobe, although these are a new acquisition, I’ve pulled out from storage a lot more denims and they make me feel human again ! What’s your favorite denim ?
You guys must know by now, I’m all about looking and feeling good without breaking the bank. Of course, I do occasionally love to indulge on clothing and accessories but I don’t believe everything you wear has to be expensive brands to look the part. I’ve paired this high waisted denim with bright and warm tones for the seasons. I think textile plays a big part into creating a look that gives the impression that you payed more for what you’re wearing. This is why I opted for a silk feel top rather than plain cotton. I couldn't agree more with "Orange is the new black" motto. I am in LOVE with this colour !
Springtime is finally here and I am eager to dress the part ! Although it is officially blooming season we are unfortunately still going to have to deal with chilly mornings & rainy days. Sweater weather is still part of our everyday rituals. Do not dispair winter is finally over !! I have put this look together to show you that you can easily look chic, keep warm and still dress down to slowly get ready to bare more skin. I personally love to pair pointy heels with a denim on occasion where I want to up my casual wear. On top wear your favourite hoodie or knit. Orange is a big trend this season nothing beats a pop of color! Finish the look with a bomber or denim jacket, it is very weather friendly and effortless. Bodycon dresses can be intimidating, especially when you feel that you don't want to reveal every parts of your body to the world or say you've had a kid and you body isn't what it used to be ... I am all about self love ! I believe everyone is beautiful in their own ways. You don't need to have perfect abs and a perfectly tone body to wear something fitting as long as you feel confident nothing else truly matters. To be honest, I always had this complex about my stomach area. It may be related to my previous career in the fashion world or to my own insecurities and my lack of commitment to the gym but wearing fitted clothing without spanks is like wearing a plead mini skirt without boyshorts. I would feel bare notably on a windy day ! With a slinky ruched or with a twist front dress you give accents to certain parts of your body by "concealing" the less faltering ones. A ruched skirt or dress will accentuate your behind and curves by flattening your stomach area. Add a bomber or blazer and you can indulge a little more at dinner with desert without feeling super bloated.
For details of this outfit, I unfortunately do not remember what store I purchase this dress.. It was one of those instagram shop from Australia but you can find similar ones on many website ... As for the bomber it's from Revolve, a couples seasons ago. And you already know about the Perspex heels.. Mine are from Steve Maddens. You can find them at much more reasonable prices on sites like public desire or ego.
Woke up on this beautiful sunny Sunday morning smelling spring in the air. As I opened my kitchen window I felt this fresh crisp florid fragrance of early blooming almond trees and it give me joy at the anticipation of finally transitioning my wardrobe. I do enjoy all four seasons because when you love fashion and style as much as I do, you get simple pleasure of life with summer taking it's turn for fall and sweater weather - warm cacao sitting in front of a crackling fire - I think every season has it's perks but a tricky part of switching from cold to warm is the alteration. What do I wear to stay warm in the early chilly morning ? How can I evolve my style to a more springiness sense ? When can I finally wear my open toes heels ?
